life feels like a joke.
one minute you're on cloud nine,
the next, reality hits you like a brick wall.
sometimes you feel like everything is all in place,
sometimes its all covered in mud,
sometimes it just hidden away from you,
and sometimes you feel like hiding from the world.
so many things just happen so fast,
i can barely seem to have enough time to stomach it all,
and the most ridiculous part is no one seems to notice.
i'm tired of trying,
i'm tired of being tormented by my thoughts,
so do what you want,
go ahead.
its not like its gonna change anything regarding me anyway.
dont get me wrong;
its not that i dont care,
its just that ive learnt to look past all these things
because they've cause me too much pain.
at this point in time right now,
i cant be sure about this;
but somehow a really terrifying thought popped into my mind,
and it still lingers on...
well whatever it is,
im suddenly reminded of a quote from one tree hill:
"perhaps we give the best of our hearts uncritically;
to those who hardly think of us in return."
